Italy to close Benghazi consulate after weekend attack

ROME, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Italy on Tuesday said it would close down its consulate in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi, local media reported.

The development came after a weekend attack on an Italian diplomat in Libya which caused no casualties.
