CAIRO, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Egypt's caretaker President Adli Mansour appointed two advisors on Friday, one for political affairs and the other for constitutional affairs, official MENA news agency reported.

Ali Awad Saleh, deputy head of the Supreme Constitutional Court, was appointed as the President's constitutional advisor, while Mostafa Hegazy, international expert in the strategic planning, took the position as the President's political advisor.

This is the first decree taken by Adli Mansour, who took the oath Thursday as an interim head of the state after the ouster of Islamist-oriented Mohamed Morsi.
