Gold price opens lower in Hong Kong

The gold price in Hong Kong went down 120 HK dollars to open at 15,880 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to $1,720.00 a troy ounce, down $13.00 at the latest exchange rate of one US dollar against 7.750 HK dollars.
