Dollar drops to upper 81 yen range in early Tokyo deals

TOKYO, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar slipped to the upper 81 yen range early Tuesday morning in Tokyo as the Bank of Japan will take aggressive monetary steps soon.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 81.84-92 yen compared with 82.03-13 yen in New York and 82.17-18 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.

The euro fetched 1.2988-2990 dollars and 106.34-37 yen against 1.2967-2977 dollars and 106.42-52 yen in New York and 1.2972-2973 dollars and 106.59-63 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
