YEREVAN, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Orange Armenia, one of the country's mobile phone operators, said Tuesday it would officially begin selling the iPhone 5 on Dec. 14.

Orange Armenia would sell the popular smartphone at a reasonable tariff, over which the company had been negotiating with Apple since September, press coordinator Lilit Martirosyan was quoted by local Armenpress news agency as saying.

The phone will launch in 50 other countries on the same day after being introduced in September. The main difference between the new phone and its predecessors is its relatively light weight and new screen size.
