China Financial Futures Exchange has recently allowed several qualified foreign institutional investors (QFII) to apply for opening trading accounts of stock index futures, so investors are about to participate in stock index futures trading, according to People's Daily on Friday.
The move is conductive to further improve investor structure of stock index futures market and to stabilize share-holding of spot market. It is also helpful to introduce foreign mature risk management concept, advocate rational investment and promote healthy and stable development of capital markets.
