First national equestrian event opens in northern China

The inaugural Chinese Equestrian Event kicked off on Thursday at Ejin Horo Banner in Erdos city of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The event has attracted 109 riders of 35 teams from all around the country.

The Sept. 20-25 event features dressage, cross-country, show jumping and speed races.

Some communication activities, such as models show, horse auction is also followed.
