(Shanghai Daily)

The Didier Drogba-Shanghai Shenhua drama is far from over after the Chinese Football Association refused to give a clearance to the Ivorian striker following a review of his contract with Shenhua last Friday.

The CFA said there is not enough evidence to show that Shenhua owed Drogba his salary. Turkish club Galatasaray, which signed Drogba last week, may turn to FIFA. But the striker will not be able to play for the it until FIFA issues a temporary transfer clearance.

Bad reputation for the CFA... Best of luck to the Chinese and Shenhua in the future on brining in star players from Europe as this will be remembered. European football players this is what you get if you sign with the chinese. Contracts and terms are void in china as they don"t honor their word.
