England boss Roy Hodgson said his side would fear no one in the Brazil World Cup finals before Friday's draw.

"We respect everybody, we don't fear anybody, as such," he said to the Football Association's website.

"Whatever group we get, we think it will be a tough one but we're just happy to be there in a group and play whatever opponents the draw pulls out for us."

The Three Lions, who are in Pot 4 alongside the other eight European teams, will learn their 2014 group stage opponents and venue destinations when the draw takes place in Costa do Sauipe, Brazil, on Friday.

To make all pots balanced with eight teams, a pre-draw session will be held to move one of the European teams from Pot 4 into Pot 2.

That European team must then be drawn against one of the four seeded South American teams in Pot 1 to ensure that no more than two Euro teams will appear in a group.

England have one ninth probability to become that seemingly unlucky team, which will be drawn into a potentially tough group, but Hodgson felt relaxed about it.

"There's certainly no trepidation, but satisfaction as well. It's such a great achievement to be here - that was our goal, that was our aim and we had to work very hard in our group with ten tough qualification games," said Hodgson.

"So this really just brings it all home and all the hard work has led to this so we can't wait now to see who we get."

Hodgson travelled to Costa do Sauipe on Tuesday to attend Friday's draw. The 2014 World Cup will be his second after he led Switzerland to the 1994 edition tournament in the United States.
