Supermodels tour Du Fu Thatched Cottage at night

Super models from 50 foreign countries and 10 Chinese famous models visited Du Fu Thatched Cottage in Chengdu, capital city of southwest China's Sichuan province on the evening of Sept. 24, 2012.

Du Fu, a very famous poet, lived in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Just as its name implies, the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu was his home more than a thousand years ago. As an idyllic 24-acre park and museum in honor of Du Fu at the western outskirts of Chengdu, the Chinese government established Du Fu Thatched Cottage in 1961 as a National Heritage site.
