In Peru, the children are expressing the China they know through their paintings. An exhibition featuring their work has opened in the capital Lima. From The Great Wall, the Chinese dragon, the Monkey King, 22 works by Peruvian elementary and middle school students demonstrate their knowledge of China.
The paintings on display were selected from nearly 2-thousand works by Peruvian students. Yet most of them haven’t been to China and are hoping to visit the country one day. For contrast, also on display are 20 paintings by Chinese pupils, presenting Peru in their eyes.
