'Earliest Photographs of China' exhibited in Paris

The exhibition opened here on Tuesday, displaying daguerreotypes of Chinese people and scenery in the Guangdong region, including 15 daguerreotypes taken by French customs inspector and amateur daguerreotypist Jules Itier in 1844, considered to be the earliest preserved photographs of China.
