Bold colors dominate 2013 interior design

It's time for the international trade exhibition Home UK. The latest ideas in luxury home textiles, furniture and ornamental ceramics are being revealed, wowing retailers, buyers and designers.

With more colors here than a rainbow, buyers are spoilt for choice.

These dazzling red, carefully crafted instruments aim to make cooking a pleasure. Incorporating the latest technology, the kitchenware is pricey.

At first glance these pink and green flying objects look like decorative mobiles. In fact they're cake stands.

Stone colored chairs have silver handles. Candlesticks are made of chrome. And tableware are -- of course --plated with gold.

And you'll probably want one of these bold lampshades to match your crystal chandeliers.

Home UK is a showcase for top-notch designs.

Exhibition organizer Ian Rudge said, "This is where the trade come to find the products that you're going to see in the shops over the next eighteen months and being the very first show of the year after Christmas, this is the first chance that retailers have to find out what trends are emerging, to get the new product before anyone else and hopefully get it on their shelves before everyone else does."
