(People’s Daily Online--Han Shasha)As part of the “Cultures of China, Festival of Spring” annual event, Song Zuying U.S. concert tour ended today in San Francisco and the performance won big applause.
With the famous Chinese song such as “Jasmine Flower”, “Good Days” and “Flying song of the Earth”, Song Zuying brought flawless auditory enjoyment to audiences from San Francisco Bay Area today at the Davies Symphony Hall. During the performance, the audience gave her a standing ovation. One audience said that her performance is a treat for eyes and ears.
Joining the American Symphony Orchestra, Ms. Song with other famous Chinese singers Sha Baoliang and Tsewang Dorjie brought the wishes from China to America.
Known as the “Queen of Chinese folk songs”, Song Zuying started the concert tour of the United States this February, and the performance in San Francisco is the last one.
Initiated by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, the “Cultures of China, Festival of Spring” annual event has sponsored many elite art troupes of China. It has been a special program to promote Chinese culture and celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year with overseas Chinese since it begun in 2009.
