Only rubies that are produced in Myanmar can be called pigeon blood rubies, as their color are closer to pure red.

A pair of 6.27 carat rare pigeon blood rubies belonging to a private collector is shown in Nanjing.

Although they are not for sale, industry insiders estimate that they are worth more than 100 million yuan.
