Real-life room escape games become popular in China

Players experience the real-life room escape games in a club in Beijing. Covering an area of over 1,000 square meters, the "Action" club has five themes; it can accommodate more than 50 players at the same time.

Room escape evolved from a classic mystery-solving online game originated in the U.S. It requires players trapped in a sealed room to work together to find clues and get out.

In the recent two years, real-life room escape games are gaining popularity in major cities in China. The major players are college students and white collar workers, who come to the rooms mainly for the thrill of the challenge or to relax from work pressure.
