The 11th Panchen Lama Bainqen Erdini Qoigyijabu had given blessings for more than 13,000 Buddhism believers and monks when paying a visit to Shigatse Prefecture, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region between on Aug. 6 and 7.
The Tibetan Buddhism spiritual leader is now on visit in Tibet for a series of Buddhist activities. Panchen Lama’s visit has become an annual event in recent years.
