Party, government leaders database goes online

The database of Chinese party and government leaders database (beta) (domain name: gbzl.people.com.cn) has been launched. Based on the authorative data from News of the Communist Party of China, People's Daily Online, the database is a large-scale interactive database which has included more than 1,600 resumes of the current leaders and cadres of hundreds of departments and units including central authority, State Council, mass organizations, provinces, municipalities, large central enterprises, universities, and provide services such as press queries and extended reading.

Consisting of two major functional blocks, the database realizes name query, classification query, keyword query and fuzzy query and other functions. The data in the database is collected from published news reports, and online information published by relevant units.

To ensure timely update, the database has been equipped with a special error correcting response system with which users can send the modified information directly to the management background for modification at the first time.
