Chinese president receives credentials of 12 new ambassadors

BEIJING, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday received credentials of 12 new ambassadors to China.

The ambassadors are Abdoulaye Fall from Senegal, Borislav Maric from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Tarek Amri from Tunisia, Andrey Denisov from Russia,Lebohang Ntsinyi from Lesotho, Julian Ventura Valero from Mexico, Valdemar Carneiro Leao Neto from Brazil, Kwon Youngse from the Republic of Korea, Vassilios Costis from Greece, Kanaiym Baktygulova from Kyrgyzstan, Victor Bockarie Foh from Sierra Leone and Ivan Zerpa Guerrero from Venezuela.

Xi welcomed the new ambassadors to take their posts and conveyed greetings to their leaders and peoples.

Xi hoped them to contribute to the growth of relations between China and their respective countries.

The ambassadors pledged to make active efforts to promote friendly cooperation with China during their tenure.
