6-meter-high statue of Mao Zedong unveiled in National Museum of China

“Mao Zedong’s calligraphy and contemporary artists’ carving and painting exhibition” was held to mark the 120th birth anniversary of Mao Zedong in the National Museum in Beijing on Dec. 23, 2013, 120 items of Mao’s calligraphy works, 12 carving works by contemporary artists and 58 items of paintings about Mao are exhibited in the show.
