International Military Tattoo to celebrate 15th anniversary of founding HKSAR held

The military band delegation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) composed of the PLA Military Band and the PLA Navy Band, the Hong Kong Police Band (HKPB), the guard of honor of the three services of the PLA Hong Kong Garrison and the military bands from Russia, the United States and Britain staged an unusually brilliant military music show at the Hong Kong Coliseum on the evening of June 22, 2012.

This is the opening night of this year's International Military Tattoo. Donald Tsang Yam-Kuen, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), attended the concert and watched the show together with more than 8,000 Hong Kong residents.

The International Military Tattoo was held by the Government of the HKSAR to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the founding of the HKSAR. The military band delegation of the Chinese PLA was specially invited to participate in it.

The guard of honor of the three services of the PLA Hong Kong Garrison also performed gun parade marching.
