Chinese naval escort taskforce berths at Port of Karachi for supply and rest

The "Yiyang" warship of the 12th naval escort taskforce of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) arrived at the Port of Karachi in Pakistan on the morning of September 8, 2012, local time, for its 2nd round of replenishment and rest. This is the taskforce's first call at the Port of Karachi for replenishment and rest.

During the berth, the officers and men of the taskforce will visit Pakistani Maritime Museum and Chinese and Pakistani navies will hold seminars among other learning and exchange activities.
