PLA runs study class on diplomatic activities of border and coastal defense

The 2012 study class on border and coastal defense diplomatic activities of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) was held on September 12, 2012 in the Frontier Defense College of the PLA. This study class serves as a professional concentrated training on diplomatic activities of border and coastal defense under the new situations, and a concrete measure to thoroughly implement the spirit of the national meeting on border and coastal defense, resolutely safeguard our state sovereignty and interests and enhance efforts in neighborliness and frontier stability in an all-round way.

During to two-day training, experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, the State Oceanic Administration and the organs of the PLA general headquarters/departments will give lectures on such contents as border negotiations, handling disputes over oceanic rights and interests, frontier defense building and military diplomacy with neighboring countries.
