Thousands of Wuhan residents and students from colleges and universities stepped into a command post of the air force under the Guangzhou Military Area Command (MAC) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) to get close contact with the air force weaponry and equipment and the training life of air force officers and men there. This is also the first time for the air force ground defense troops to open to the public.
Activities on the open day include military training subject show, combat operation show and show of weaponry systems such as antiaircraft guns, guided missiles and radars, and housekeeping display.
