PLA working conference on depot reserves and logistics support capability assessment held

The working conference on depot reserves as well as check and assessment of logistics support capability of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) was held on September 18, 2012 in Beijing.

The conference focused on expanding and deepening the logistical preparations for military struggle, and all-roundly summarized and assessed the logistics support capability building in the past ten years, so as to constantly create new situations in logistics support capability building under information-based conditions.

Liao Xilong, member of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and director of the General Logistics Department (GLD) of the PLA, attended the conference.

Liu Yuan, political commissar of the GLD of the PLA, gave a mobilization speech at the conference.
