Fujian PMC builds new mode of modularized integrated support

The Fujian Provincial Military Command (PMC) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) has now established dozens of various comprehensive logistics support groups and support bases across the whole province. Meanwhile, the Fujian PMC has also established 203 crack emergency support squadrons and combat service detachments, and reserved more than 20,000 technical support personnel in such fields as medical service, communication and transportation.

The support system integrates professional information systems of finance, military supplies, barracks, medical service, POL (petroleum, oil and lubricants), materials and logistics, and has 15 functions including information command and control, module combination, dynamic monitoring, three-dimensional transportation and direct reporting of epidemic situations.

To give full play to the maximum efficiency of the system, the support group, support subgroup and support contingent have been incorporated into command procedures of national defense mobilization committees at various levels and local emergency systems.
