A shore service department under the East China Sea Fleet of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) held a group wedding for eight officers and men during the National Day holiday at the Sandu Naval Port, known as the "Heaven Lake", in Ningde of east China's Fujian Province.
Amidst military songs and cheers, the eight officers and men held the hands of their own brides, walked on the red carpet to the Wedding March, stepped over the door of happiness and into marriage.
In a lively and joyful atmosphere, the eight newlyweds exchanged love tokens, expressed love to each other, and took a solemn oath in front of the army flag to pledge to fight to death to defend their homeland and never betray their military marriage.
