| The picture shows the Jinan MAC holds a farewell ceremony at 16:00 at the airport for the 7th Chinese peacekeeping engineer detachment's departure to Sudan (Darfur). |
As approved and designated by the General Headquarters/Departments and the Jinan Military Area Command (MAC) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), I headed to the Nyala City in South Darfur State, the Republic of Sudan in Africa as a member of the joint guiding group of the General Headquarters/Departments and the Jinan MAC to organize the sixth rotation and hand-over of the peacekeeping force and visit Khartoum, capital of Sudan, from July 18 to 28 of 2012. I've recorded what I saw, heard, thought and realized in a bid to help people better understand Sudan, get deeper knowledge of the peacekeeping officers and men, and provide more support for the peacekeeping operations.
Farewell and fly to Africa!
