Qi Jianguo leaves Beijing for Cuba to pay visit

At the invitation of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) of the Republic of Cuba, Lt. Gen. Qi Jianguo, deputy chief of general staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), and the delegation led by him left Beijing for Cuba to pay an official goodwill visit on December 3, 2012.

During the visit, Lt. Gen. Qi Jianguo will meet with leaders of the FAR and the two sides will have in-depth exchange of views on the issues of strengthening pragmatic cooperation between the two militaries and promoting the China-Cuba friendly and cooperative relations.
