Qi Jianguo leads PLA delegation to attend Shangri-la Dialogue

BEIJING, May 31, (ChinaMil) -- Lt. Gen. Qi Jianguo, deputy chief of general staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), will lead a delegation of the PLA to attend the Shangri-la Dialogue which will be held in Singapore from May 31 to June 2, 2013.

During the dialogue, Qi Jianguo will make a speech to expound China's national defense policy and regional security cooperation initiatives, and meet with leaders of defense departments and armed forces of related countries to exchange his views with them on regional security situation and the relations between the two militaries.
