TACLOBAN, December 4 (ChinaMil) --When Malisuoer and her younger sister Garding received a group photo soaked in sea water and a shabby purple book satchel from Li Hongyan, nursing director of the "Peace Ark" hospital ship under the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLAN), on the morning of December 3, they both laughed happily.

"These are our only belongings left. All the others were washed away by water", Garding rubbed the group photo of her and her sister, looking as if she had recovered those beautiful memories.

When the super-strong typhoon "Haiyan" hit Tacloban city in Philippines on the early morning of November 8, Malisuoer was luckily uninjured but her mother was unfortunately killed and her younger sister Garding's left leg suffered from bone fracture after being hit by heavy objects. Due to the limited medical conditions, Garding's leg received only some simple fixation.

As 20 days had lapsed, Garding wasn't effectively treated when she thought to herself "Maybe I will never recover", despair gnawing on their beautiful dream of dancing together again on the stage.

When Malisoure learned from the neighbor several days ago that the Chinese naval hospital ship took in many patients, she was extremely happy: "I have a hunch that my sister will continue to dance!"

After twists and turns, Malisoure finally brought Garding on November 29 to the forward hospital set up in Parlo town by the "Peace Ark" hospital ship.

Zhang Xiliang, the orthopaedic surgeon, checked Garding and suggested that they take the helicopter to the hospital ship for surgery and treatment. They left in such a haste that they forgot their only belongings, the book satchel.

"Doctor, will I be able to dance again?" Garding nervously asked Wang Deli, the main surgeon of her operation, when she woke up after the surgery. "Don't worry! You will recover very soon and we are all looking forward to your beautiful performances", Dr. Wang replied.

It suddenly occurred to Malisouer while lying in the ward that they had forgot their book satchel. "That's our only property left after we lost our home. The group photo and the satchel are the only memories we have", she said. When Wang Xinhua, the head nurse, noticed the change in the two sisters' emotions, she pursued the reasons and reported the situation to her colleagues in the forward hospital. Before long, the purple book satchel and the group photo were sent to the "Peace Ark" hospital ship.

"I want to thank the Chinese Navy for curing my sister's leg and helping us to find our lost items", Malisouer said. She insisted on having a group photo with the medical personnel. Now that they have another valuable group photo, they will cherish it forever, she said.

There is no national boundary in the kingdom of love. The two sisters received a harvest of much happiness and feelings. "We have a beautiful wish that we will be able to visit China in the future and present the best dance to those Chinese doctors who have helped us."Malisouer and Garding firmly believe that their dream will come true.
