I am a student studying in the US. I am not sure whether there is an english version. But is it possible for me to contribute my article to you and get published? I am interested in contribute a piece about how the western mainstream media has disabled the communication between normal westerners and Chinese people.

Contributions are greatly welcomed. Yes, People's Daily has its English version and it's online: english.people.com.cn. You can get the detail information from "about us". Anyway, not all the contributions we will publish on the site. It depends on the articless you offered.
