New Yangtze River Bridge opens in China's Wuhan

Photo taken on Dec. 31, 2011 shows the Erqi Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan, the capital of central China's Hubei Province. The Erqi Yangtze River Bridge, the seventh Yangtze River Bridge, was completed and opened to traffic on Saturday. The bridge, 6,507 meters in total length with two main 616-meter spans, was both the three-bridgehead cable-stayed and composite-beam cable-stayed bridge with the world's largest span.
