A network media marketing activity “Travel in Hainan province” kicked off on the afternoon of Sept. 27 in Haikou, capital city of Hainan province. Jiang Dingzhi, the governor of the province attended this activity.
The assistant of the provincial governor and director of the Hainan tourism committee, Lu Zhiyuan accepted an interview of People’s Daily Online. Lu said Hainan will strengthen the market promotion among the overseas tourists.
Lu said Hainan has made more effort to promote overseas tourism market in recent years. For example, it has attended various international exhibitions held worldwide.
Hainan is going to present itself as an important travel origin markets and invite import foreign media, oversea traveling salesmen and celebrities to experience the unique tropical coast for publicizing its tourism.
At present, Russia and South Korea are Hainan’s important overseas travel origin markets. Hainan also attaches great attention to publicizing tourism in these countries, Lu added.(Ma Xi)
