Supermarket catches fire in north China

SHIJIAZHUANG, Feb. 18 (Xinhua) -- A three-story supermarket caught fire early Monday morning and it remains unknown if there are any casualties, fire fighters said.

Workers were staying in the Zhongxing Supermarket in Jingzhong East street, Qianxi County, when the blaze broke out, said a fire fighting source with Tangshan City.

Fire fighters are struggling to quench the fire which spread to the whole building.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
