South Korean pop singer Psy attracted 9 million followers through Sina Weibo, the Twitter-like micro-blogging service, up to Monday, making him one of the best-known Korean stars in China.

Psy, known internationally for last summer's hit single Gangnam Style, opened his Sina Weibo account on Nov 8, and his agent expects the number of followers to reach 10 million.

Psy danced at Dragon TV's Spring Festival Gala, marking his first show in China.
