China truck-minibus crash kills 6, injures 4

GUIYANG, April 6 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed and four were injured after a heavy-duty truck collided with a minibus in southwest China's Guizhou Province Saturday, police said.

The accident occurred at about 6 p.m. on a road in the county seat of Jinsha in the city of Bijie. Three people were killed at the scene and another three died later after emergency treatment failed.

The four injured have been rushed to hospital.

Local traffic police are investigating the cause of the accident.
