CAS provides psychological intervention for quake-hit survivors in SW China

Children follow their teacher to play a game during a psychological support course at a psychological support workstation joined by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) inside a school in the quake-hit Lushan County, southwest China's Sichuan Province, May 14, 2013. The CAS has set up four psychological support workstations scattered in the disaster areas in the wake of the Lushan disaster so as to provide psychological intervention to help local survivors deal with the quake's emotional impact and move on. By far, a total of ten specialists and 32 volunteers were sent by the CAS's Institute of Psychology and helped more than 1,000 people. (Xinhua/Li Xiaoguo)
