"Our dream stage"
Little theater is a genre of dramatic performance. Different from traditional stage play, it is more free and new in creation and performance, and features more interaction with spectators.

303 drama club was established by some youths who love little theater and perform local dramas in Chongqing, southwest China.

"We've come together because we love it"
Qi Jiefu has been the actor of the 303 drama club for two years, and loves his moustache. He is also the lecturer of arts performance in a college. "It is difficult if I live on earnings from playing drama. All other actors and stage managers have a full-time job such as teacher, businessman, voice actors, bar boss, etc," Qi said. "We only meet when we have performance or rehearsal every Wednesday"

"When our theatrical dream meets reality"
"I would help them to be full-time staff in the drama club but we are short of money. Private drama clubs needs to survive by themselves. Now we have financial problems; we need money for place, actors, and advertisement. Without money, we can hardly create good production. Low-budget play cannot attract many spectators, so it affects the box office and our revenue," a drama director of 303 club said.

But they are still optimistic about future. "On the stage we are chasing our dream, we are happy about our little plays, so we will not give up however hard it is," the director said.
