Knife attack injures 4 in Beijing

BEIJING, July 22 (Xinhua) -- A knife-wielding man injured four people on Monday in a Carrefour store in Beijing, police confirmed.

The suspect, a Beijing local surnamed Wang, was captured on the spot, police said.

Wang was born in 1963, according to a statement published on the Beijing Public Security Bureau's Weibo account.

The injured have been taken to hospital.

Police have cordoned off the scene, and people are not allowed to go into the Carrefour store.
