Memorial held for China flood victims as death toll rises

A northeastern Chinese city held a memorial service for local flood victims on Saturday as the death toll rose by 13 to 76.

The death toll climbed to 76 while 88 remained missing as of Friday, about a week after the city of Fushun in Liaoning province was ravaged by the worst flooding in decades, Fushun mayor Luan Qingwei said at the mourning ceremony.
