Father,81, sues six children for negligence

The 81-year-old widower Yin Kaixi filed a lawsuit against his six children at Changping District Court, asking for 1,000 yuan and one visit every month from each of them, the Beijing Evening News reported.

Yin requested 23,400 yuan from both his daughters for negligence in supporting him since 1994. His four sons said each of them now pays 800 yuan per month, and that their father's bad temper makes it impossible to hire a nurse.

The six children said they would be willing to obey the verdict. The case has not been adjudicated yet.
