3 dead in Shanxi coal mine accident

At least three people were killed and another injured after a landslide at an open-pit coal mine buried seven in north China's Shanxi Province on Wednesday morning, local authorities said.

The accident happened at around 8:30 a.m. in Jiaokou County of Luliang City, according to the county government.

Another three people are still buried underneath earth, said the government.

Rescue work continues.
