In recent years, conflicts often occur between China and South Korea in the disputable exclusive economic zone in order to scramble for fishery resources. The following list shows all the fishing conflicts that occurred between China and South Korea.
On July 8, 2004, a Chinese fishing boat sank after hit by a South Korean cargo ship. One Chinese died in this accident.
On April 7, 2008, a Chinese fishing boat sank after hit by a South Korean cargo ship. Six disappeared in this accident.
