CPC official meets Cambodian delegation

BEIJING, Dec. 18 -- Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Liu Yunshan met with a delegation from the Cambodian People's Party led by Deputy Prime Minister Sok An on Wednesday.

Liu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said during the meeting that China is willing to strengthen cooperation with Cambodia in various fields and advance their comprehensive strategic partnership.

Liu said the Third Plenary Session of the 18th Communist Party of China Central Committee has laid out comprehensive reform tasks which raise new requirements for the CPC's governance capability.

He said the CPC will increase contacts with Cambodian People's Party at all levels, enhance communication on governance and work together for their countries' development as well as peoples' wellbeing.

Sok An congratulated China on the success of the CPC session and expressed willingness for closer ties with the CPC as well as more cooperation in various fields and levels.
