The following are the Electoral College votes projected to win by major U.S. presidential candidates as of 1950 EST Tuesday (0050 GMT Wednesday), according to U.S. television networks.



Republican John McCain 13 Electoral Votes

Democrat Barack Obama 3 Electoral Votes

Unsured 522 Electoral Votes



Under U.S. election system, a candidate must get 270 of the 538 votes in the Electoral College to win the presidency.
