The first China-EU High-Level Economic and Trade Dialogue was held in Beijing last Friday on April 25. It was co-hosted by Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan and EU trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson and joined by nine EU commissioners which make up one third of the European Commission and 13 Chinese officials at the ministerial level.
