Tongban Village, lying in the mountainous area of southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, was once called the "senior village" because in the 1990s lots of young people brought their children to work in cities and left all the elderly behind. But those who have left are unwilling to see the decline of their hometown, so they set up the "Tongban Mountain Fruits Farmer Cooperative" at the beginning of 2013, pooling of lands as shares, to plant plum tree and wild grapes in a scale and boost local tourism. Many young villagers are attracted back home. A vanishing village gradually comes back to life and residents are now looking forward to their future.

During the Spring Festival in 2014, the villagers came back home to get together with their family. The camera recorded the moments of family reunion. The family photos convey not only ties of kinship but also Tongban people's love for their hometown, dream and future. They believe that more and more people will come back home.
