BEIJING, March 10 (People's Daily Online)—The opening of the “two sessions” has caught great attention from foreign media. In a recent interview with People’s Daily Online, Kenyan journalist Bob Wekesa said that he is most concerned about the real strategies of Chinese rapid economic development.

Wekesa has lived in China since September 2011 and usually travels back to Kenya and Africa to do research during vacation. Regarding China as his second home, Bob Wekesa is impressed by the great achievement of China and he has followed NPC and CPPCC as well as other developments for a long time.

Wekesa said that people in Africa have knowledge about the institutions and Chinese political system. During the two sessions of this year, the hottest topic that he focuses on is the real strategies for China’s fast economic development.

Speaking of the expectations for China’s future development, Wekesa hoped China will remain stable politically and socially. “I shudder to imagine a country as huge as China going through turmoil. That would be terrible for the rest of the world”, he said.
