China holds Maritime Cooperation – 2014 multi-country maritime exercises

Multi-country maritime exercises "Maritime Cooperation – 2014" were held off the coast of the eastern Chinese city of Qingdao on April 23, 2014.

Nineteen ships, seven helicopters and Marine Corps from eight countries were organized into three task forces to conduct the exercises. Chinese destroyer Harbin was designated as the command ship.
